YTSK II: Chapter XV
In Universe Date: 8003 BC
"50% of your power left, huh?"
I was ready to make my move at any moment.
"Let's see what you can still do, Juq."
Yan charged at me, repeatedly punching me.
"COME ON, FIGHT BACK! I THOUGHT THIS WASN'T OVER YET."
I tried to block Yan's attacks, but some still went through.
"YOU'RE PATHETIC!" Yan stood still, taunting me. "COME ON, DON'T YOU HAVE ANYTHING MORE TO DISH OUT?"
I took a deep breath, before yelling: "KAIO-KEN TIMES THREE!". With my power now amplified, I interrupted Yan's barrage of punches with a new one of my own, however it had no effect.
"What did you expect to happen here? If a punch does 0 damage, then a punch thrice amplified will also do 0 damage. That's just math."
I stood still, making a thinking face (🤔), before saying "fuck, you're right."
"It appears you no more moves left to play, and I have achieved checkmate."
"Actually if I have no more legal moves then it's stalemate, not checkmate, learn chess noob"
"Shut up!", yelled Yan. "I've let you live long enough!"
Yan ran at me, and as soon as her punch made contact, she teleported above the crater and threw me into the lava. Before I even realized what was going on, I reflexively used ki flight to propel myself back into the air, before landing at the opposite end of the crater.
Yan now faced me, with a lava lake seperating us. "Ah yes, that's right. You can fly. I suppose this battle really is not over yet."
I stood there, pondering what to do.
"So Juq, since fate has saved you from the lava, what are you planning to do now?"
I was silent.
"Maybe try another final flash. You almost got me last time, I'm sure it'll be fatal if you just tried once more."
Yeah, right. Fatal for me, not for her.|| ||Instead of continuing with the battle, I simply decided to make a rush for Seoul, flying as fast as I could (1km per second). I could easily make this journey in less than an hour. I needed to warn my father of the rebellion, and get all assistance I needed, since I clearly couldn't beat Yan alone.
I was able to fly a mere 180 kilometres before Yan teleported in front of me and latched onto me. I think she tried to yell at me, but I couldn't hear her, since I was flying well over the speed of sound.
She then punched and kicked me repeatedly, forcing me to land. "And now you're floored. That's right coward, you can't run from Yan". She then kicked to throw me into a large structure which then collapsed on me. Afterwards, I yelled: "KAI-KEN TIMES 7!" and threw the rubble off me, before then exiting the power-up to conserve energy.
"So, you're still not giving up?"
I cleaned the rubble of my clothes.
"Juq, why are you still fighting? You only have 35% of your power left, while I have incurred zero damage. Give up this meaningless and desperate resistance."
"Don't get cocky, Yan. I still have one trick up my sleeves."
