YTSK II: Chapter XXII

Yan enters Dodolulupepe's room inside of parliament.
"Hello Dodo." "Hello Ms. President." "Yesterday I tried to call the suicide hotline, but they didn't want to help me." "Oh dear, that's terrible! How can I be of assistance?" "Oh, all you have to do is... ...*Die.*" "What do you-" Dodo is interrupted by a gunshot, before he sees Yan holding a glock. She barely missed him. Dodo runs to hide behind his sofa. "YOUR HISTORY OF HAKKARI VIDEO WASN'T VERY ACCURATE, DODO!" Yan shoots more bullets, but the sofa stands strong. Dodo tries to run to his basement, but Yan catches him and pins him to the floor.
"YOU DEPICTED PINYASI AS BEING FAR SMALLER THAN IT REALLY WAS, YOU BRAINLESS FUCKING SHIT!" Yan grabs Dodo's index finger and bends it backwards, inducing an avulsion fracture. Dodo screams. "DO YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE CAN BE MADE SMALLER?" Yan physically rips off the top of Dodo's index finger, creating a large blood wound. "THE LENGTH OF YOUR OWN GODDAMN FINGER!" Yan proceeds to eat Dodo's ripped index finger. "You know, it's not often that a human gets to eat Dodo meat. Tastes pretty good to be honest." A audible, noisy crackling sound can be heard as Yan continues to crunch on Dodo's finger. "Anyway, let's get back to business."
"IN THE 1577 SLIDE OF YOUR VIDEO, YOU ADDED TEXT THAT WAS CUT OFF, MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO READ!" Yan grabs Dodo's left leg. "YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE CAN BE CUT OFF?" Yan slices Dodo's left leg apart with a knife. "YOUR OWN FUCKING LEG!" Once again, Yan clenches her teeth into her victim's ripped off body part, to temporarily quench her hunger for human flesh. However, as she eats Dodo's leg, she gets so enamoured by its delightful taste and busy with gobbling it that she gets distracted from her goal of killing Dodo. Exploiting the distraction, Dodo proceeds to drag himself to his basement, before locking the door. "I need to tell Shusha about this", he thinks to himself. He hurls himself to fall of the stairs and reach closer to his phone.
Alerted by the sound, Yan notices Dodo is gone and quickly figures that he is in the basement. With but a single furious punch, she bursts open the thin and frail wooden door. She looks at Dodo at the bottom of the basement as he tries to call Shusha.
"Phones don't work here", she says. "I made sure this area of parliament no longer has functioning wifi." Yan slowly walks down the stairs, taking a few steps, closing the distance between her and Dodo, before stopping again. "Besides, even if you could call others - and you can't - it wouldn't be of much help. I could kill any reinforcements very easily."
Yan licks some blood off her knife. She says: "From the moment I want you dead, there is no sanctuary in this country for you", before jumping on Dodo's body. Yan's feet stomp and thrust deeply into Dodo's body tissue. A dark orgasm of pain writhes through his body. "It's you, against all of Videomapistan."
Yan grabs Dodo's right leg. "Also, have I mentioned that you DEPICTED BOHTAN'S BORDERS INACCURATELY?", she says before cutting off his last leg.
Dodo now had only his arms to manoeuvre himself. He musters what energy he has left to crawl away from Yan.
"Are you trying to escape?", she asks. "You can see the wall at the other side of the room, right? Even if you crawl away, I can still corner you easily."
Suddenly, Yan feels a wrench as it hits her head. It does no damage.
"Oh, I get it. You weren't trying to escape. You were reaching for a wrench to use as a projectile." Yan chuckles.
"You know, in their last moments, people show you who they really are. Most people, being cowards, would've just begged or promised to delete videos. You, however, are clearly someone who is willing to fight. I can appreciate that, you know." Yan picks up the wrench. "But let me show you how you really use one of these things."
Yan hits Dodo in the head with the wrench. "THAT'S FOR ALL THE KURDISH STATES YOU EXCLUDED IN YOUR HAKKARI VIDEO!" Yan hits Dodo again. "THAT'S FOR TRACING KAYRA ATAKAN FOR WAR FRONTLINES!" Yan hits Dodo again. "THAT'S FOR NOT SHOWING THE SERBIAN AUTONOMY WITHIN HUNGARY IN YOUR OTTOMAN-VENETIAN WAR VIDEO!" Yan hits Dodo again. "THAT'S FOR SHOWING THE DANUBE DELTA AS MOLDOVAN!" Dodo corrects: "*Moldavian*" Yan hits Dodo again. "SHUT UP!"
Dodo's face has been thoroughly contorted by the wrench slams. He can't see, and is bleeding profusely. Yan grabs her knife. "I'm ending this." "Yan, wait!" "What?" "You know Yan, I want to tell you something. I am trans..."
Yan's eyes widen. Thoughts race through her mind. Was she attacking another woman this whole time? She contemplates, for a moment, whether she should let Dodo go.
"trans...YLVANIAN!", Dodo says, before then transforming into a bat. He flies across the room, towards the door leading out of the basement. Yan is surprised: "A vampire?", she says, before throwing the wrench in an attempt to hit Dodo. She misses. Dodo flies over the stairs and through the door. Yan tries to run after Dodo, but quickly realizes that she is too slow to outrun Dodo's bat form. She then decided to teleport to the door in front of Dodo's room and make one last attempt to catch him, but fails again and Dodo escapes into the hallways. She tries running, but Dodo is too fast and she loses sight of him.
"God dammit, I should've just teleported him to my lair in R'lyeh. I've made such a mess. Then again, there is not way I could've expected that he'd just transform like... that."
After navigating several hallways, Dodo reaches Shusha's room. Shusha notices the bat. "Dodo, is that you?". Dodo then transforms back into his human form. Shusha is shocked by the sight of Dodo's bleeding face and torn-off limbs. "Dodo, what happened? Did Yan..." "Yes! You were right about Yan, Shusha. I underestimated her. I should've listened to your warnings." "Such an extreme and open act of defiance would've never led to anything good." "Can you please get me to a hospital? I am bleeding profusely!" "I am afraid not. Yan will soon start a manhunt for you, and it's unlikely you can survive laying still on a hospital bed in your human form. I think the only way for you to avoid bleeding to death is to stay in your bat form for the foreseeable future." Dodo sighs, and transforms back into his bat-form. "I guess being a vampire has its perks."
Afterwards, Shusha opens his phone and messages Tenax via Signal.
